I especially love the topics of the discussion board in all of the other web courses I have taken the topics were so boring and just needed to be done to get the grade. I have taken several web courses, and none of them have really ever held my attention. I just wanted to say that I am really enjoying your sociology of deviance course. You were my favorite professor this semester. I have been on a long break from school and took a leap of faith to start the process of finishing my degree.Thank you so much for helping reignite my passion for the world of academia. I loved your teaching style and learnt much more than I thought I would. I did want to take a moment to thank you for a great semester. She loves chewing on things and eating all the foods. I also have a goldendoodle puppy named Kkami. I have wonderful and talented daughter, Claire Gray, who recently graduated from CCAD with a degree in advertising and graphic design. My favorite TV shows are science fiction shows like Doctor Who and The Expanse, and my favorite movie is The Red Violin. I particularly like classical period music and play the flute, clarinet, and saxophone. I enjoy photography and data visualization as a hobby, and I am a big fan of old goth bands like Fields of the Nephilim and the Sisters of Mercy. When I was a graduate student, I was a member of the Ohio State Synchronized Skating Team and participated in the first ever collegiate level synchronized skating competition held in the United States.

I've lived in 10 different states and 3 different countries. I have experience and expertise in using social media in the classroom, teaching with technology, teaching in virtual worlds, and online/distance learning course development and evaluation. I specialize in law and society, sociology of law, forensic criminology, and deviant subcultures. I teach courses in criminology, sociology, and law. I am a Professor of Sociology/Criminology in the Social Sciences Department at Columbus State Community College.
